The Skate-Cross is a race between four skaters on a track with several obstacles (type skateparks ramps, fun-box, pyramids, waves…) of different heights, and with several turns. The top two skaters who cross the finish line in each race are qualified for the next round until the final where the four best skaters will race against each other. Individual time trials are generally organised to rank the skaters and place them in the different race groups. The track will change at each race and can be on a flat surface or a slope, of a length of about 300–400 meters.
